Wheat Kings' fans could be in tough to find tickets for the 2016 MasterCard Memorial Cup.
The team's allocation for tickets for the event are very limited, so much so that they don't even have enough to accommodate their own players and staff's families.
"Only 80 ticket packages available to the WHL Champion, which is unfortunate based on the emthusiasm and passion our fans had through the playoffs," said Brandon GM/Coach Kelly McCrimmon, "I think we have a lot of people that would like to go."
Some single game tickets are available through Ticketmaster, and McCrimmon says fan should look at other secondary markets for ticket purchasing.
"I would encourage our fans to try to buy tickets for single games online," added McCrimmon, "I know that we've had some people that were able to get tickets on Kijiji or Stubhub but in terms to going through the hockey club, we've only got 80 packages and that's going to used up by our families."
Single game tickets range in price from $60-$75, plus agency fees.
Brandon plays their opening game Saturday against QMJHL Champion Rouyn-Noranda.
The OHL Champion London Knights and the host Red Deer Rebels are the other two teams in the event.
