Residents of Brandon will get a chance to be reacquainted with four former star players in the near future.

Brandon City Council voted Tuesday to name streets after Bill Derlago, Ron Chipperfield, Glen Hanlon and Bill Fairbairn in a new development being built on the southwest side of the city.

All four players enjoyed outstanding careers with the Wheat Kings and went on to play in the NHL or WHA, and all four are members of the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame.

A boulevard named after the late Brad McCrimmon will also be used at a later time.
