A pair of Brandon Wheat Kings are participating in NHL Development Camps this week.

Goaltender Jordan Papirny was on the ice with the Connor McDavid and the rest of the Edmonton Oilers' prospects when they opened their camp Wednesday while top scorer Tim McGauley is headed to the Montreal Canadiens camp that begins on Sunday.

Papirny led the WHL in wins with 44 last season while also finished sixth in the league with a 2.74 goals against average and .910 save percentage.

McGauley, meanwhile, was the Eastern Conference nominee for Player of the Year after finished third in the WHL in scoring with 105 points.

Meanwhile, Ivan Provorov and Ryan Pilon will both be at development camps next week.

Provorov was Philadelphia's first round pick (7th overall) in the 2015 NHL Draft while Pilon was a fifth round selection of the New York Islanders.

Former Wheat Kings' captain Peter Quenneville is also at the Columbus Blue Jackets' development camp this week while 2014 NHL Draft picks John Quenneville (New Jersey), Jayce Hawryluk (Florida) and Reid Duke (Minnesota) are also at their respective teams' Development Camps this month.
