Hawryluk, Quenneville Named to Team WHL

  Two members of the Brandon Wheat Kings have been named to Team WHL for the upcoming Subway Super Series.

  Jayce Hawryluk and John Quenneville were two of the 19 players named to the squad Thursday, with an additional roster announcement expected to take place next week.

  Quenneville is currently sidelined with an upper body injury but is expected to return in time to take part in the games on November 10th in Saskatoon and November 11th in at Westman Communications Group Place in Brandon.

  Hawryluk is off to a good start to his season with five goals and nine points in seven games and attended Hockey Canada's Junior Development Camp in August.

  Elkhorn product Travis Sanheim of the Calgary Hitmen was also named to Team WHL, with Winnipeg Jets' draft picks Eric Comrie (Tri-City), Nic Petan (Portland) and Josh Morrissey (Prince Albert) among the others named to the squad.

  Victoria Royals' coach Dave Lowry will be head coach for Team WHL, with Kelly McCrimmon of the Wheat Kings serving as the assistant coach.
