Foursome Headed to U17 Camp

Tanner Kaspick
The Brandon Wheat Kings' top four picks in the 2013 Western Hockey League Bantam Draft will all attend Hockey Canada's Under-17 Development Camp this summer.

Nolan Patrick, Kale Clague, Tanner Kaspick and Ty Lewis will among the 96 skaters invited to the camp, which takes place July 29th to August 4th in Calgary.

The camp is being use to help identify players for the three Canadian teams that will play in the modified World Under-17 Hockey Challenge this fall.

The three teams (Black, Red & White) will replace the five regional teams that have competed in past years.

In addition, this year's tournament will take place from October 31st to November 8th, with the venue yet to be determined.

In addition to Patrick, Kaspick and Lewis, two other Manitobans earned invitations in West St. Paul's Liam Schioler (Regina Pats) and Oakbank's Brett Howden (Moose Jaw Warriors).
