- Peter Quenneville tries to extend his point-scoring streak to eight games tonight, which would be the longest streak for a Wheat Kings' player this season.  Quenneville has five goals and 12 points in the last seven games.

- Interesting stat(s) of the night: Curtis Honey has a 5.11 GAA and .878 SPCT in 15 appearances on the road this season (4-9-2 record) while Jordan Papirny is 6-4-2 with a 3.36 GAA and .892 SPCT on the road this season.  Papirny starts in Saskatoon tonight.

- Blades' leading scorer Nikita Scherbak (upper body) misses his second straight game tonight after being injured in Wednesday's loss to Prince George.  Scherbak has 64 points this season, with Connor Sanvido next on the Blades' scoring list with 33 points.
