- Elkhorn product Travis Sanheim is enjoying a solid rookie season with Calgary  The 17-year old has one goal, eight points and a +8 rating in 32 games this season and scored his first career WHL goal on December 13th in a 7-0 win over Medicine Hat.

- Brandon brings a seven-game regular season losing streak against the Hitmen into tonight's contest.  Calgary is 8-0-0-0 against the East Division this year and 17-3-0-2 overall on home-ice this season.  It's a key reason why they sit in first-place in the Eastern Conference.
