Notes
- goaltender Curtis Honey (upper body) misses his fourth straight game, with former Brandon AAA Midget Wheat King Justin Holder serving as Jordan Papirny's emergency backup.  Brandon will also scratch D Taylor Green,  F Ryley Lindgren, F Tyler Coulter and F Brett Kitt.

- In the absence of Curtis Honey, rookie Jordan Papirny has started three straight games for Brandon and stopped 92 of 100 shots for a 2.68 GAA and .920 SPCT.

- defencman Rene Hunter will play his 200th career game as a member of the Wheat Kings tonight, joining fellow blueliners Ryan Pulock and Eric Roy at that milestone.  Pulock and Roy both reached the mark last month while Nick Walters is eight games shy of that mark.

- I wonder if it's time to start being concerned about Tim McGauley's lack of point production this season.  The 2nd-year centre has two goals and seven points in 16 games after being the Wheat Kings' co-leader in scoring with 45 points in 66 games including 28 over the last 32 games of the 2012-13 season.  McGauley takes an 11-game goalless streak into tonight's contest, notching just four assists in that span.

- The Broncos have made an interesting season, going 6-3-0-1 in their first 10 games before losing five straight during a swing through the WHL's U.S. Division.  Since returning from that road trip, they've won five in a row.  Particularly interested to get my first LIVE glimpse of import defenceman Julius Honka, who has 21 points in 20 games in his rookie season including 11 on the power-play.
