Hawryluk Impressing at U18 Camp

Jayce Hawryluk (left) and Jordan Thomson are both hoping to get
good news on Monday
Brandon Wheat Kings' forward Jayce Hawryluk had a goal and an assist to help Red defeat White 4-1 in an intrasquad game at Hockey Canada's Under-18 Selection Camp in Toronto.

The Roblin product also had an assist in Saturday's first intrasquad game.

Wawanesa product Jordan Thomson of the Kamloops Blazers is also at the camp as he and Hawryluk try to nail down spots on Canada's roster for the Memorial of Ivan Hlinka Tournament next month in Slovakia and the Czech Republic.

There'll be another intrasquad game on Monday morning with the final roster to be announced late Monday afternoon.
