Notes
- The Wheat Kings will sit D Kord Pankewicz as a healthy scratch for the fourth straight game while F John Quenneville (lower body, indefinite) and F Tyrel Seaman (concussion, out for season) are Brandon's other scratches. Quenneville was injured in Saturday's game in Prince Albert.

- Brandon is looking to win back-to-back games for just the second time in the second half of the season.  They last won two straight on January 11-12.

- Saw an interesting stat in the Regina Pats' game notes today that goaltender Matt Hewitt had faced 35 or more shots in 21 games this season.  Got me wondering how many games the Wheat Kings had surrendered 35 or more shots against.  The answer - 35 times including Saturday's game in Prince Albert.  In fact Brandon has given up an average of 36.71 shots per game -- 2,423 overall this season.  The Wheat Kings have outshot their opponents twice in the last 20 games.

- The Pats are coming off a sweep in their home-and-home series with the Moose Jaw Warriors, winning 3-2 in overtime in Friday night and beating the Warriors in Moose Jaw 7-2 last night.  Chandler Stephenson and Morgan Klimchuk had a goal and three assists each for the Pats last night.

- The battle for the first overall pick in the 2013 WHL Bantam Draft has Brandon sitting in 20th-place, six points ahead of 21st-place Prince George and 12 points ahead of 22nd-place Vancouver.  The Cougars do have three games in hand on both the Wheat Kings and Giants.  Moose Jaw is two points ahead of Brandon and the Pats are three points ahead of the Wheat Kings.  A team can only move up two spots in the Draft Lottery, which will only involve the six non-playoff team.  The lottery will be held the week after the regular season ends.
