- Tyler Yaworski returns to the Brandon Wheat Kings' lineup tonight after serving his six-game suspensio.  Late last week, I talked to Yaworski about whether he'd have to change his game when he returned from the suspension.  You can read that article here.

- D Kord Pankewicz (lower body, day-to-day) is out tonight for Brandon while the Wheat Kings will also scratch G Corbin Boes (knee), F Richard Nejezchleb (hand) and F Tyrel Seaman (concussion).  Jordan Papirny returns for a one-game appearance as Curtis Honey's backup.

- Tonight's game is the first road game for the Wheat Kings since February 1st.  The club went 3-3-1-0 on a seven-game home stand that concluded with Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Kootenay.  The Wheat Kings are 10-16-1-2 on the road so far this season including a victory in their only other trip to Saskatoon back on January 19th.

- The Blades and Brandon will get quite familiar with each other over the next 12 days, playing three times including tonight's tilt. The Wheat Kings are 17-18-1-1 against Saskatoon over the past five years including 7-8-1-1 mark at Credit Union Centre.

- Saskatoon brings an 11-game winning streak into tonight's tilt.  A big reason for their success is the play of goaltender Andrey Makarov, who makes his 19th straight start tonight.  Markarov has a 1.75 GAA and .953 SPCT during the Blades' winning streak.
