- Jordan Papirny, who collected his first career WHL win Friday night, has been returned to the SSAC Boston Pizza Athletics of the Alberta Midget Hockey League.  The Athletics are playing their final two games of the regular season today and tomorrow and need to win one of those to secure first-place in the Dodge Division.  The AMHL playoffs begin next week.

- Brandon Wheat Kings' captain Ryan Pulock was ranked 12th in the latest International Scouting Service rankings for the 2013 NHL Draft, solidifying his status as a mid-first round pick in June.  The Top 30 ISS rankings can be found here.

- Wheat Kings' rookie Jayce Hawryluk takes a seven-game point streak into tonight's contest (6 G, 6 A) and leads all 1996-born WHL rookies with 40 points.  In fact, Hawryluk is the highest scoring CANADIAN rookie in the WHL standing fifth overall behind Oliver Bjorkstrand (Portland), Roberts Lipsbergs (Seattle), Leon Draisaitl (Prince Albert) and Seth Jones (Portland).

- Jaedon Descheneau (2 G, 5 A) and Sam Reinhart (2 G, 4 A) both take four-game point scoring streak into tonight's contest for Kootenay.  The Ice enter tonight's game three pints behind Lethbridge for eighth-place in the Eastern Conference with a game in hand.
