- Brandon F Jayce Hawryluk takes a five-game point streak into tonight's contest (5 G, 4 A), tied for the longest for a Wheat King this season. Tim McGauley has a four-game point streak (0 G, 7 A) while Ryan Pulock has seven points (1 G, 6 A) in his last four games.

- This is the seventh meeting of the season between the Pats and Wheat Kings, with Brandon holding a 4-2-0-0 record against their East Division rivals including a 3-0-0-0 mark on home-ice.

- Sat down for a chat with Wheat Kings' GM Kelly McCrimmon prior to tonight's game and we discussed Wade Redden 1,000th NHL game and the averate attendance figures that are down roughly 350 fans per game this season and compared to 2011-2012.  McCrimmon also gave me an update on where he feels the Wheat Kings, as a team, are at so far this season.  That interview is coming up on our pre-game show on CKLQ.
