The Brandon Wheat Kings' first round pick in the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft is enjoying a quality season to date.
Braylon Shmyr recently helped Team Alberta to a silver medal at the Western Canada U16 Challenge Cup, registering three goals and seven points in four games and being named to the tournament's all-star team.
Shmyr also has six goals and 14 points in 11 games with the AMHL's Calgary Buffaloes, putting him in a tie for 24th in league scoring with, among others, another Wheat Kings' prospect in MacKenzie Bauer.
I recently had a chance to catch up to Braylon Shmyr to talk about the U16 tournament and his season to date.
