Notes
- Brandon scratches tonight are F Richard Nejezchleb (shoulder, week-to-week), D Colton Waltz (personal), D Riley Van Horne (healthy) and F Geordie Maguire (healthy).

- F Alessio Bertaggia takes a five-game point streak (3 G, 4 A) into tonight's contest while D Ryan Pulock is on a four-game point streak (1 G, 4 A).

- The Wheat Kings have made the playoffs for twelve consecutive seasons, the second longest current streak in the WHL behind Kootenay (14).  Both streaks could be in danger in 2012-2013 if the two teams don't get pointed upward in a hurry.

- Brandon has had as much success at Western Financial Place as any building in the Western Hockey League, going 7-2-0-1 in the last five seasons here.

- The Ice are just 5-12-1-0 this season but shutout the Hitmen in Calgary 4-0 Monday to break an eight-game losing streak.  Sam Reinhart scored the shootout winner for Team WHL in their 1-0 victory over the Russian Selects Wednesday in Vancouver and is the top offensive player on the Ice with 17 points in 18 games.  He isn't eligible for the NHL Draft until 2014 because of a late birthday.
