- Brandon scratches are F Richard Nejezchleb (shoulder, 1-2 weeks), D Riley Van Horne (healthy), F John Quenneville (healthy) and D Colton Waltz (healthy).

- Brandon is closing out a five-game home stand today, having gone 2-2-0-0 thus far.  The Wheat Kings 22-7-1-1 against the Broncos over the past five seasons including a 12-2-0-1 mark on Brandon.

- Alessio Bertaggia takes a four-game point streak into today's contest (2 G, 4 A) and Ryan Pulock has points in three straight contests (1 G, 3 A).

- Swift Current is coming off a 4-1 home-ice victory over Prince Albert last night, a game that saw them score three power-play goals. One of the matchups today is Broncos' power-play that ranks fourth in the WHL with a 27.2% success rate against a Wheat Kings' penalty-kill that has given up at least one opposition power-play goal in eight straight games and 16 of 20 contests this season.

- Winnipeg Jets' draft pick Adam Lowry leads the Broncos in scoring with 11 goals and 25 points.  He and Graham Black (16 points) will play for Team WHL in this week's Subway Super Series.
