- The Wheat Kings are surrendering an average of 35.95 shots against per game.  That's ahead of last year's pace (34.7 per game), when the team gave up the most shots against in more than 20 years.

- Jason Swyripa will play his 150th career game tonight. The Wheat Kings' forward has 17 goals, 44 points and a -29 rating in 149 career games entering tonight's action.

- former Wheat King Spencer Galbraith will not be in Lethbridge's lineup tonight or in the forseeable future.  Galbraith informed the team earlier this week that he'd lost the desire to play and would be returning home.

- Lethbridge goaltender Ty Rimmer is a former Wheat King, and tonight marks his first game back in Brandon since being traded by in October of 2010.  Rimmer has played every minute of every game so far for the 'Canes, and will get his 21st consecutive start in goal tonight.  Brandon originally traded Rimmer to Prince George for a sixth round pick in the 2012 Bantam Draft, a pick that turned into D Mark Taraschuk.
