- Tyler Yaworski returns to Brandon's lineup tonight after missing the last three games because of a WHL-imposed suspension.
- Brandon's power-play has scored in five straight games, going 6-for-22 (27.3%) over that span.
- Calgary has started the season with a 9-4-1-2 mark in their first 16 games and are tied for 1st-place in the Central Division. The Hitmen are coming off a 4-1 victory in Regina last night and will close out their 3-in-3 weekend by visiting Moose Jaw tomorrow.
- Winnipeg product Chris Driedger is off to a good start to his 2012-2013 season. The Ottawa Senators' third round draft pick is 7-3-2 with a 2.57 GAA and .914 SPCT in 12 appearances so far this season.
