Notes
- Brandon scratches are F Richard Nejezchleb (upper body), F Jack Palmer (healthy), F Taylor Cooper (healthy) and D Riley Van Horne (healthy). F Daniel Asham returns to the Brandon lineup after missing both games this past weekend because of illness.

- Two teams in similiar plights meeting tonight. Brandon is 1-3-1-0 in their last five games, scoring nine goals in the process, which Medicine Hat is 1-5-1-0 in their last seven contests with 18 goals in those seven games. However, seven of those came in a home-ice victory over the Prince George Cougars this past Saturday.

- Medicine Hat features 15 players who were not with the team a year ago; Brandon has 12 players who were full-time Wheat Kings last season.

- Brandon F Nick Buonassisi has been held to three points (all assists) in the last five games but does enter Tuesday's contest just one point shy of 150 for his WHL career.   Jason Swyripa is on a six-game pointless streak while Tyrel Seaman has just one point (an assist) in his last seven games.

- Miles Koules has four goals and nine points in 11 games this season. He's the son of former Wheat King and former Tampa Bay Lightning owner Oren Koules.  The elder Koules also played for Medicine Hat in his WHL career and, of course, went on to become the producer of the highly successful Saw film series.

- A lot of NHL scouts on hand to watch this one including Winnipeg Jets' Director of Amateur Scouting Marcel Comeau and Dallas Stars' scout and former NHLer Shane Churla. Shane will be my guest during my second intermission show tonight.
