Ryan Pulock registered his first point at the World Under-18 Hockey Championship on Monday.

The Wheat Kings' defenceman had an assist on a third period power-play goal by Red Deer's Mathew Dumba, the fifth goal in a 6-2 win for Canada over the host Czech Republic.

Sam Reinhart of the Kootenay Ice and Kerby Rychel of the Windsor Spitfires had a goal and two assists each for Canada.

Canada is now 2-and-1 heading into their final round-robin game against the United States on Tuesday.

The winner of that game will earn first-place in Group A.

The Americans are a perfect 3-and-0, and have yet to allow a goal in the tournament.
