- The Wheat Kings scratch F Tyrel Seaman (concussion), F Dominick Favreau (shoulder) and G Curtis Honey (healthy). Kevin Sundher is in the Brandon lineup tonight after missing Thursday's practice with a undisclosed ailment.

- Brandon hasn't won on home-ice since December 28, losing five straight home games and being outscored 25-11 in the process. It's the first time since 2001 that the Wheat Kings had failed to win a home game in the month of January.

- some of the ugly #'s from January for the Wheat Kings include a 4-9-0-1 record, three or fewer goals scores in 11 of the 14 contests and an average of 36.7 shots against (eight times of 37 or more shots against). The team was also outscored 31-11 in the second period of their 14 January games.

- The Hurricanes will start Damien Ketlo in goal tonight and not former Wheat King Liam Liston. Spencer Galbraith will play tonight after missing the last two games with a lower-body injury. Liston is 5-10-1 with a 4.49 GAA and .878 SPCT in 19 games with the 'Canes while Galbraith has seven points, all assists, and a -7 rating in 35 games with the Hurricanes. I caught up with Galbraith for a couple of minutes prior to Friday's game...

- Max Moline returns to the Lethbridge lineup tonight. He's been out since September with a lower body injury.
