- The news is getting worse for the Wheat Kings' on the injury front. Kevin Sunder (upper body) will miss tonight's game while Jason Swyripa (lower body) will take warmup and then there'll be a decision on whether he'll play. Alessio Bertaggia (upper body), Dominick Favreau (upper body) and Tyrel Seaman (concussion) are also scratched while G Curtis Honey is a healthy scratch for the eighth consecutive game.

- The increased injury list means Brandon (if Swyripa plays) will dress 10 forwards (including converted defenceman Dylan Kuczek) and six defencemen for tonight's contest.

- Corbin Boes will start in goal for the Wheat Kings, his sixth start in the last eight games. Boes is 3-2 with a2.83 GAA and .920 SPCT in his last six appearances.

- Mark Stone takes a nine-game point scoring streak into tonight's contest (6 G, 11 A). Stone leads the WHL scoring race by two points over Regina's Jordan Weal entering Wednesday's action.

- Former Wheat King Liam Liston starts for the Hurricanes. Liston stopped 31 of 32 shots in Lethbridge's last game, a 3-1 win over visiting Prince Albert on Saturday night. Liston is 6-10-0 with a 4.28 GAA and .883 SPCT in 20 appearances with the 'Canes this season.
