- Alessio Bertaggia (upper body) join the Wheat Kings' injury list, joining Dominick Favreau (upper body) and Tyrel Seaman (concussion). G Curtis Honey is a healthy scratch for the seventh consecutive game.

- Brandon Anderson starts in goal for the Wheat Kings, just his second start since January 21st. Anderson stopped 28 of 31 shots in a 6-3 win in Swift Current 10 days ago in his last start.

- Brandon looks to re-start a winning streak after having their three-gamer end Sunday in Medicine Hat. The Wheat Kings enter Tuesday's action sitting four points ahead of ninth-place Red Deer and five behind the seventh-place Regina Pats in the WHL's Eastern Conference. Both the Rebels and Pats are idle on Tuesday.

- Kootenay is 4-2-0-0 in their last six games after a four-game losing streak that started with Brandon's 1-0 win in Cranbrook on January 24th. Interestingly enough, healthy scratch Curtis Honey made 34 saves for the shutout that night.

- The Ice have allowed just 10 goals in their last six games, with Nathan Lieuwen starting five of those. He's 4-1 with a 1.40 GAA and .951 SPCT in his those last five starts.

- Kootenay is 31-17-4-4 overall and sitting in fourth-place in the Eastern Conference, one point ahead of Saskatoon and four behind Medicine Hat.
