Notes
- the Wheat Kings scratch Kevin Sunder (upper body), Alessio Bertaggia (upper body), Tyrel Seaman (concussion) and Curtis Honey (healthy). Dominick Favreau (upper body) and Jason Swyripa (lower body) will both be game-time decisions.

- Brandon Anderson starts in goal for the Wheat Kings. Anderson has stopped 59 of 65 shots in his last two starts (3.00 GAA, .908 SPCT).

- For all you Brodie Melnychuk haters out there, consider this. The Wheat Kings fifth-year defenceman has seven points (3 G, 4 A) and is +18 in the last 20 games and his +15 rating this season is third-best on the Wheat Kings and ties him for 54th overall in the Western Hockey League.

- Tonight's game is the first of a season-long six-game home stand for Brandon. The Wheat Kings are three points behind seventh-place Regina and six behind both Calgarty and Saskatoon in the Eastern Conference. If the club intends to make a move up the standings, the next two weeks will be critical.

- Prince Albert has lost six in a row heading into tonight's contest and sit last in the WHL's Eastern Conference with a 18-35-2-2 record. The Raiders have been particularly dreadful on the road, going 6-19-1-2 on the season and winning just two of their last nine away from the Art Hauser Centre.

- Brandon's product Carson Perreaux has one goal and two points in 10 games since returning from an upper body injury, and has four points in 31 games with the Raiders this season.
