- the Wheat Kings scratch G Curtis Honey (healthy), F Kevin Sundher (concussion), F Jason Swyripa (lower body) and F Tyrel Seaman (concussion) for tonight's tilt with the Kootenay Ice.

- Alessio Bertaggia returns to the Brandon lineup after missing four games with a concussion while Brandon Anderson will get the start in goal for the Wheat Kings.

- Anderson and Corbin Boes have combined for a 2.38 GAA and .931 SPCT over the last eight games, seven of which have been Brandon victories.

- Wheat Kings' captain Mark Stone takes a 12-game point scoring streak (7 G, 20 A) into tonight's game and has 102 points on the season, two more than Portland's Ty Rattie in the WHL scoring race.

- A Brandon victory tonight would move the Wheat Kings past Regina and into seventh-place in the WHL's Eastern Confernce. The Pats would have two games in hand.

- Kootenay captain Drew Czerwonka is expected to miss the next 4 - 6 weeks with a knee injury, while rookie defenceman Jeff Hubic sits tonight after being given a one-game suspension by the WHL.

- Rookie MacKenzie Skapski starts in goal for the Ice. He's made 15 appearances for Kootenay this season and started for the Ice the last time they visited Brandon on January 21st, a 7-3 Kootenay victory.
