- Michael Ferland is in the Wheat Kings' lineup tonight. Ferland was one of seven players released from the Canadian Junior Team's Selection Camp and spent much of the day travelling back to Brandon. I had a chance to talk to Ferland prior to Tuesday's game....

- Wheat Kings' Mark Stone remains at the Canadian Junior Team Selection Camp and TSN's Bob McKenzie predicts Stone has locked up one of the RW spots on Team Canada. Final cutdown is tomorrow morning.

- Tyrel Seaman misses his eighth straight game with a suspected concussion while Corbin Boes (broken hand) and Dylan Kuczek are the other scratches for Brandon. Kuczek is a healthy scratch for the 24th time this season.

- The Rockets are without Brett Bulmer, who is also at the Canadian Junior Team Selection Camp. Bulmer is second on the Rockets in scoring with 11 goals and 23 points, despite playing in just 15 games.

- Kelowna head coach Ryan Huska is also in Calgary as an assistant coach with the Canadian team. Assistant coaches Dan Lambert and Ryan Cuthbert are handling the coaching duties for the Rockets in his absence.
