Notes
- for the first time this season, the Brandon Wheat Kings have a completely healthy roster, and it couldn't have come at a better time. Brandon plays three games in three nights and four in the next five starting with tonight's contest against Medicine Hat.

- Jens Meilleur returns to the Brandon lineup tonight after missing 16 games with a (suspected) fractured wrist. Meilleur was off to a good start to the season before the injury.

- Brandon scratches tonight are F Bruno Mraz (healthy), D Ayrton Nikkel (healthy) and D Dylan Kuczek (healthy).

- Corbin Boes starts in goal for the Wheat Kings. Boes was the WHL nominee for the CHL Goaltender of the Week award after going 2-0 with a 1.13 GAA and .965 SPCT in three appearances last week. Since October 1st, Boes has a 1.88 GAA and .938 SPCT in 12 appearances.

- Medicine Hat is without star goaltender Tyler Bunz, who took a puck to the head while sitting on the Team WHL bench during Wednesday's Subway Super Series game in Regina. Kenny Cameron makes his third start of the season for the Tigers. He's 1-1 with a 3.40 GAA and .873 SPCT in two starts this year. Dawson McAuley has been brought in from the SJHL's Yorkton Terriers to serve as Cameron's backup.

- The Tigers and Wheat Kings enter Friday's game with identical 14-6-1-1 record and are part of a three-way tie for second-place in the Eastern Conference, one point behind first-place Saskatoon. The Blades are idle tonight.
