Dziurzynski Suspended by WHL

The Western Hockey League has suspended Darian Dziurzynski of the Brandon Wheat Kings for the charging major he received in the final minute of Tuesday's game in Swift Current.

Dziurzynski's hit on Swift Current's Andy Blanke occurred with 44 seconds remaining in Brandon's 7-3 victory.

Blanke did not appear to suffered an injury on the play, as he got up and skated to the Broncos' bench on his own after the hit.

The length of the suspension has yet to be determined but, based on past suspensions this season, it's likely Dziurzynski will miss at least Brandon's two home games this weekend.
