Dziurzynski Banished for Two Games

The Western Hockey League finalized the suspension for Brandon Wheat Kings' forward Darian Dziurzynski late Thursday afternoon.

Dziurzynski has been suspended for two games for the charging major and game misconduct he incurred in the final minute of Brandon's 7-3 victory in Swift Current on Tuesday night.

The sentence means Dziurzynski will miss this weekend's home games against Calgary and Medicine Hat, but he will be eligible to return to the Brandon lineup Tuesday when the Wheat Kings face his former team, the Saskatoon Blades, for the first time since he was acquired by Brandon on October 16th.

Dziurzynski's suspension pushed the total in the WHL this season to 34 players, for a total of 101 games.
