Notes
- Brandon scratches are D Brodie Melnychuk, F Dominick Favreau, D Rene Hunter and D Dylan Kuczek. Kuczek is a healthy scratch for the sixth straight game while Melnychuk, Favreau and Hunter are all sidelined with upper, lower, middle, inner, outer body injuries.

- The Cougars named D Jesse Forsberg their new captain earlier today, but he sits tonight as he continues to recover from off-season shoulder surgery. Among the other PG scratches is Winnipeg product Charles Inglis, who sits Game #3 of his 10-game suspension.

- Devon Fordyce gets his first career WHL start in goal for Prince George while Corbin Boes starts his third straight and fifth in six games this season for Brandon.

- The Cougars dress six 16-year old players tonight including the #1 pick in the 2010 WHL Bantam, F Alex Forsberg. Forsberg is currently tied for the team lead in scoring with five points (2 G, 3 A).

- Mark Stone (5 G, 8 A) and Alessio Bertaggia (5 G, 3 A) both enter tonight's contest riding 5-game point scoring streaks. Eric Roy (2 G, 5 A), Michael Ferland (4 G, 2 A) and Ryan Pulock (0 G, 4 A) are all on 3-game point streaks.

- Prince George's last visit to Brandon was on Remembrance Day, 2009, with Brandon skating away with a 7-3 victory.

- On a personal note, it was great catching up with former Wheat Kings and current Cougars' coach Dean Clark the past couple of days. There's one thing about Dean -- he's always got a story to tell.
