- Brandon scratches tonight are D Dylan Kuczek (healthy), D Brodie Melnychuk (upper body, 2 weeks), F Jens Meilleur (upper body, 3 weeks) and F Dominick Favreau (lower body, 2 weeks).

- D Rene Hunter returns to Brandon's lineup tonight after missing two games with a suspected head injury.

- The Wheat Kings will dress seven defencemen tonight, with Ayrton Nikkel listed as the seventh. Brandon practiced yesterday with Kuczek on LW with Asham and Conroy, so who might see some shifts in that spot is up in the air. Best bet...they'll rotate the other LW's through that spot.

- Liam Liston gets his second start of the season in goal for Brandon. Corbin Boes had started four straight games and six of seven this season.

- Brandon's power-play has been humming along the last five games, going 10-for-20 (50.0%).

- Ty Rimmer won't get a chance to start against his former team, as Tri-City gives the goaltending start to 16-year old rookie Eric Comrie.

- The Americans are 4-0 at home this season, and 144-36-0-4 at the Toyota Center over the last five-plus season.

- Brandon's last visit to Kennewick was October 21, 2009, with the Americans skating away with a 5-3 victory.
