- Bruno Mraz misses his second straight game because of a suspected head injury while D Brodie Melnychuk (wrist, 1 week), F Dominick Favreau (lower body, 2-3 weeks) and F Jens Meilleur (upper body, 2-3 weeks) are Brandon's other scratches.

- The Mraz injury and Jack Palmer being returned to the Saanich Braves of the VIJHL after Wednesday's game leaves Brandon with 20 healthy players, so they'll dress 11 forwards and seven defencemen tonight.

- Brandon Anderson gets his third straight start in goal since being acquired by the Wheat Kings from Lethbridge. Brandon also makes a couple of lines changes, with Alessio Bertaggia and Michael Ferland swapping spots on the top two lines. Tonight's lines are how Brandon finished the game in Everett.

- Tyler Bunz starts for the 11th time in 12 games for the Tigers. He's stopped 135 of 142 shots over his last four starts, all of them Tiger victories. In fact, Medicine Hat has won five straight overall entering tonight's action.

- Medicine Hat is relatively healthy, though Dallas Stars' draft pick Alex Theriau, a 19-year old defenceman, is out tonight because of illness.
