Notes
- Bruno Mraz is out of the lineup tonight after suffering what appeared to be a head injury in the second period of last night's win in Seattle. D Dylan Kuczek (healthy), D Brodie Melnychuk (wrist, one week), F Dominick Favreau (lower body, 3 weeks) and F Jens Meilleur (upper body, 3 weeks).

- After a 31 save effort in his Brandon debut last night in Seattle, Brandon Anderson makes his second straight start in goal for the Wheat Kings.

- Melnychuk has apparently been practicing with the AAA Midget Wheat Kings the last two days as he tries to make his way back. It's looking like he'll be ready to return when the Wheat Kings play their next home game on October 28th.

- Favreau must have suffered a setback in his recovery as he went from being listed as 2 weeks away on the October 11 WHL Injury Report to 3 weeks away on the October 18 edition.

- With the Mraz injury, Dakota Conroy will play on Brandon's third line with Seaman and Swyripa. Conroy notched his first career WHL goal last night in Seattle, a goal that turned out to be the game-winner. I caught up with Conroy prior to tonight's game...

- Everett features three Manitobans on their roster in D Evan Morden (Swan River), G Austin Lotz (St. Adolphe) and F Jordyn Boyd (Winnipeg).

- The Wheat Kings are 2-5-0-1 lifetime versus the Silvertips, including a 1-3-0-0 record on Comcast Arena. That lone win game last time they visited Everett on October 24, 2009, a 5-2 Brandon victory.
