Adam Brooks' hat-trick led Manitoba to a 6-4 win over British Columbia Saturday at the Western Canada Under-16 Challenge Cup in Moose Jaw.

Wheat Kings' prospects Brett Kitt, Jayce Hawryluk and Ryley Lindgren also scored for Manitoba as they earned a spot in Sunday's gold medal game against Alberta.

Saturday's other game saw Wheat Kings' prospect Jordan Papirny stop 20 shots as Alberta beat Saskatchewan 5-1.

Papirny and Hawryluk were both named to the tournament all-star team.

Papirny, the 22nd overall pick in the 2011 Bantam Draft, has a 1.00 goals against average and .950 save percentage in two games for Alberta while Hawryluk, Brandon's second round pick last May, is second in scoring at the tournament with three goals and six points.

Adam Brooks (Manitoba), Brycen Martin (Alberta) Ryan Pilon (Saskatchewan) and Brayden Point (Alberta) were the other All-Stars.
