Walker Back at Practice

Brenden Walker
Wheat Kings' forward Brenden Walker has taken his next step forward as he continues to make his way back from a concussion.

Walker skated in a no-contact jersey in practice with Brandon on Monday.

The 19-year old Walker originally suffered a concussion last March and had symptoms return during a on-ice workout just prior to training camp.

Meanwhile, defenceman Brodie Melnychuk is expected to miss at least two more weeks.

Melnychuk fractured his wrist during training camp.
