Tuesday Morning Roundup

- Former Brandon Wheat King Jordan DePape has been on the sidelines during training camp and the WHL pre-season because of a hip flexor.  As the Kamloops Daily News reports, the 19-year old Winnipeg product hopes he'll be ready for the Winnipeg Jets' Rookie Camp this week.

- The Kamloops Blazers have assigned 15-year old defenceman Jordan Thomson back to the AAA Midget Southwest Cougars.  Thomson saw action in one pre-season game over the weekend, picking up an assist in Kamloops' 4-2 victory over Victoria on Friday night.  The Wawanesa product was the fourth overall pick in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft.

- Marc McCoy made quite the impression on the Red Deer Rebels and his hometown on Monday.  McCoy, a fifth round pick in 2009, scored three times including the overtime winner as Red Deer defeated Swift Current 5-4 at the Edmonton Oil Kings pre-season tournament.  McCoy, an Edmonton product, was a teammate of Wheat Kings' rookie Dakota Conroy with the SSAC Athletics last season, scoring 12 goals and 37 points in 30 games.

- a trade over the weekend saw the Kelowna Rockets pick up LW Carter Rigby, 17, and a conditional 2012 sixth round pick from the Prince George Cougars.  The Rockets send a 2012 third round pick to Northern B.C. in the exchange.

- the final piece of the Winnipeg Jets' imaging puzzle will be completed today.  The Winnipeg Sun says the Jets will unveil their new home and away jersey designed at a media conference this morning.
