Wheat Kings Lose Top Prospect

Brendan Harms
It looks like the Brandon Wheat Kings are losing one of their top prospects to U.S. College.

Sources have told me that Brendan Harms has committed to Bemidji State University for the 2012-2013 season.

Harms, a sixth round pick in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft, had 28 goals and 63 points in 59 games with the MJHL's Portage Terriers last season.

He's expected to spend next year with the USHL's Fargo Force.

The 17-year old Steinbach, Manitoba product had attended Brandon's Prospects Camp in May.
