Reaves Re-Signs in St. Louis

Former Brandon Wheat King Ryan Reaves (2004-2007) has inked a one-year, two-way contract with the National Hockey League's St. Louis Blues.

Reaves made his NHL debut with the Blues last season, recoring two goals, four points and 78 penalty minutes in 28 games.

The 24-year old added four goals and ten points in 50 games for the Blues' AHL affiliate in Peoria.


Former Wheat King Jordan DePape will be attending the Winnipeg Jets' Development Camp.

The 19-year old Winnipeg product notched 21 goals and 48 points in 54 games with the Kamloops Blazers last season.

It probably should be more accurately termed their Rookie Camp in September.
