Thomson, Papirny Headed to Mentorship Camp

Wawanesa product Jordan Thomson and Brandon Wheat Kings' prospect Jordan Papirny are among the 42 bantam-aged players who will participate in the first annual Allstate All-Canadians Mentorship Camp this summer.

The camp is put on by the National Hockey League Players' Association (NHLPA) and will be hosted by NHL players under the leadership of Gary Roberts.

The invitation-only camp will be held at the Hershey Centre in Mississauga, Ontario from August 2-6, with the five-day camp culminating with an inter-squad exhibition game on Saturday, August 6.

Thomson was the fourth overall pick in the 2011 WHL Bantam Draft, being chosen by the Kamloops Blazers, while Papirny was selected 22nd overall by the Wheat Kings.
