Henderson Jersey Homecoming Tour Hit Brandon Today

Brandon hockey fans had a chance to re-live one of the iconic moments in Canadian history on Thursday.

The Henderson Jersey Homecoming Tour made a three-hour stop in Brandon, with the centrepiece of the tour being Paul Henderson's jersey from the 1972 Summit Series.

To fans across the WHL, it's a great chance to see a bit of hockey history.

Part of the exhibit is the chance to watch the last 15 minutes of Game #8, and to watch highlights from the other seven games of the series.

Plenty of other memorabilia as well including Paul Henderson's gloves from the series, and Paul has been at some of the stops on the tour and I was told today that he's scheduled to be at the stops in Saskatoon and Regina.

Here's some of the rest of the tour schedule, which is hitting a few towns that also are home to WHL teams.

March 20 - Saskatoon
March 21 - Regina
March 23 - Moose Jaw
March 26 - Edmonton
April 2 - Vancouver
April 7 - Kamloops
April 8 - Kelowna
April 14 - Medicine Hat
April 15 - Lethbridge
April 16 - Calgary
