Just Notes
- Brandon scratches will included D Brodie Melnychuk (leg, day-to-day), D Spencer Galbraith (shoulder, day-to-day) and F Tyrel Seaman (illness, day-to-day). All three could be back in the lineup as early as Friday.

- Colton Waltz, 15, makes his WHL debut tonight. Waltz was Brandon's first pick, 65th overall, in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft. The 6-foot-0, 178 pound defenceman had four goals and 11 points in 32 games with the Lloydminster Bobcats of the AMHL this season. I talked with Waltz prior to tonight's contest...

- The Blades will be without C Mark Viedensky tonight after he hurt his groin in practice on Tuesday. With fellow C Brent Benson (knee) still out, it leaves the Blades a little thin down the middle.

- The WHL may not realize it yet, but the Blades have already clinched the East Division title. Saskatoon is 24 points ahead of Moose Jaw with the Warriors having 12 games left BUT even if Moose Jaw won all of their remaining games, they couldn't catch the Blades in the wins column, which is the first tiebreaker.
