Waltz Recalled by Wheat Kings

The Brandon Wheat Kings could have 15-year old Colton Waltz in their lineup for Wednesday's game in Saskatoon.

The Wheat Kings called up their top pick in the 2010 WHL Bantam Draft in the wake of a shoulder injury to Spencer Galbraith that is expected to sideline the rookie for a couple of days.

The Galbraith injury coupled with Brodie Melnychuk's continued absence with a fractured left leg left Brandon a little thin on the blueline heading into this week's action.

Waltz, the 65th overall pick in the 2010 Draft, has been playing this season with the Lloydminster Bobcats of the Alberta Midget Hockey League.

In 32 games, the 6-foot-0, 178 pound Waltz has four goals and seven assists in 11 points.
