Who'll Be Between Pipes Friday?

The Brandon Wheat Kings could have a goaltender crisis when they host the Red Deer Rebels on Friday night (7:30 p.m., Westman Communications Group Place).

Liam Liston went through his first full practice on Thursday since injuring his hamstring ten days ago while Corbin Boes took a shot to the head Wednesday night in Prince Albert and is sidelined with a suspected concussion.

The Wheat Kings are hopeful Liston will be able to play Friday night but Brandon GM/Coach Kelly McCrimmon admits they're looking into alternatives in case he can't.

Meanwhile, Matt MacKay and Brodie Melnychuk both missed practice Thursday.

MacKay has a sore foot and Melnychuk has a leg injury that caused him to miss Wednesday's game in Prince Albert.

Both players are listed as day-to-day.
