Just Notes
- Michael Tadjdeh gets the start in goal for Brandon tonight. The 19-year old was listed by the Wheat Kings earlier this week, just in case the club needed him as an affiliate player. As it turns out, the Wheat Kings did with G Corbin Boes (concussion) and G Liam Liston (hamstring) both nursing injuries. I caught up to Tadjdeh prior to Friday's game and asked how he considered this opportunity with the Wheat Kings.

- Fourth-year Brandon D Brodie Melnychuk is back in tonight after missing Wednesday's game in Prince Albert with a leg injury.

- Brandon scratches F Tyrel Seaman (healthy) and G Corbin Boes (concussion) tonight while one of Eric Roy or Spencer Galbraith is expected to be the other Wheat Kings' scratch.

- The Wheat Kings have officially announced that Ken Hitchcock will be the keynote speaker for the annual Sportsman's Dinner on February 10th. I'll talk with Wheat Kings' marketing director Rick Dillabough about the announcement and the event during our second intermission show tonight.

- Minnedosa product Chad Robinson returns to the scene of the crime tonight. The Rebels' rookie scored a key goal, the tying one in the third period, in Red Deer's 4-2 victory over Brandon on October 8th. It was his first WHL goal. Robinson begins the interview by summing up his rookie season to date...
