Schenn Notches Pair of Assists

The Canadian Junior Team's final tuneup before the 2011 World Junior Hockey Championship was a winning one.

Wheat Kings' centre Brayden Schenn had a pair of assists in helping Canada to a 5-2 victory over Finland on Thursday night in Kitchener.

Oakbank product Quinton Howden of the Moose Jaw Warriors had one of the goals for Canada, while Portland's Ryan Johansen scored twice.

Other goalscorers for Canada were Ryan Ellis and Sean Couturier while Mark Visentin stopped 18 shots in the Team Canada goal.

Canada finishes with a 3-0 record in pre-tournament action. In now gets real, with the first game of the WJC set for Boxing Day versus Russia.
