- Jens Meilleur could make his Wheat Kings' debut tonight. Meilleur has missed the club's first 18 games of the regular season after suffering a broken hand during the last game of the pre-season.

- Brandon scratches are D Eric Roy (illness), F Tyrel Seaman (healthy), F Jon Gaudet (healthy), F Dominick Favreau (healthy) and D Spencer Galbraith (healthy).

- Mark Stone has scored a goal in five consecutive games entering tonight's contest, the longest current goal-scoring streak in the WHL.

- Calvin Pickard starts in goal for Seattle. The Winnipeg product ins one of two Manitobans on the T-Birds roster. Arborg's Travis Bobbe, whom Seattle acquired from Swift Current prior to the start of the regular season, is the other.

- former Wheat King Brendan Rouse plays back in Brandon for the first time since being traded to Seattle for G Jacob De Serres in October of 2009. Rouse has three goals and five points in 13 games this season.
