- Liam Liston makes his third straight start and sixth in the last seven games. The rookie is 4-0-1 with a 2.59 GAA and .917 SPCT in his last six appearances.

- Mark Stone is riding a six-game goal scoring streak entering tonight's action. The longest streak in the WHL this season was seven games by Prince George's Brett Connelly from October 8-22.

- Scott Glennie plays his 200th career game tonight. Glennie has 88 goals and 234 points in his Wheat Kings' career.

- Tonight's game is the first time the Wheat Kings and Pats have met since making two trades two days apart in early October. On October 8th, Brandon acquired F Hampus Gustafsson from the Pats for a sixth round pick in 2013 and, two days later, the Wheat Kings dealt 20-year old defenceman Mark Schneider to Regina for forward Dominick Favreau.

- Brandon is not reporting any injuries. Scratches tonight are D Eric Roy, D Jordan Fransoo, F Jens Meilleur, F Jon Gaudet and F Mark Mieritz.

- Matt Hewitt starts in goal for the Pats, who have lost three in a row. It's his fifth appearance of the season.

- Mark Schneider is slated to be paired with 17-year old Myles Bell on the Pats' blueline. Schneider has two goals, three points and a -10 rating in 10 games with Reginia.
