- Liam Liston makes his seventh straight start and 10th in 11 games for the Wheat Kings.

- Brandon has won four straight home games, and three in a row overall.

- Tuesday's game is the final one for the Winterhawks on their East Division swing. They've won four of five so far, and 12 of their last 13 overall. They'll start the easy 26-hour bus trip home to Portland immediately following tonight's game.

- A Swiss television crew has been following the Winterhawks on their trip, documenting Nino Neiderreither and Sven Bartschi.

- Brendan Leipsic (Winnipeg) is the lone Manitoban on Portland's roster. He notched his sixth goal of the season Monday in Moose Jaw.
