Schenn Re-Assigned - But Not to Brandon?

There are some reports this afternoon are that the Los Angeles Kings have assigned Brayden Schenn back to the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Schenn appeared in eight games with the Kings this season, registering a pair of assists.

Despite the reports, lakingsinsider.com says Schenn has actually been sent to the AHL's Manchester Monarchs for a conditioning assignment that could last as long as 14 days.

More clarification is expected later this afternoon.

The 19-year old Schenn had 258 points in 195 games over the past three seasons with the Wheat Kings.

How is that possible? I though he could not go down there.
