Nothing New on Schenn

Brayden Schenn remains an LA King.

Schenn was a healthy scratch for the fourth straight game on Saturday, but could be in the lineup Monday night when the Kings visit San Jose.

Schenn apparently filled in for LA captain Dustin Brown on the Kings' top line in practice on Sunday.

I asked Brandon GM/Coach Kelly McCrimmon how the club is handling all the Schenn talk over the past week or so on Monday's edition of Coaches' Corner.

"Well, we haven't given it a lot of thought. I think when Brayden went to camp in LA, we said publicly at the time that it would be at least two months before anything was determined because we were certain he'd get his opportunity to play nine games," said McCrimmon, "I think what's happened now with him getting closer to that number, and begin in-and-out of their lineup a little bit, it's become more of a focal point for media and fans. It's a situation that'll sort itself out in time, it's really out of our hands so we'll let it play out and see what happens."
